How do I sign up and what happens next?

Signing up is easy and you can do it all online. Just hop over to our 'Sign Up' page.

Follow these steps to sign up for your Green Hosting plan:

  1. On our 'Sign Up' page, select the plan you would like
  2. Choose to either register a new domain name or use your existing domain (if using your existing domain, you will need to change the domain nameserver details)
  3. Choose your preferred billing cycle - Monthly, Annually or Biennially. Remember that you get a discount on paying annually or biennially
  4. Add any additional, optional items (such as website transfer service, WordPress install, add-on domains etc).
  5. Continue to the checkout
  6. Review your items and add a discount code if you have one
  7. Checkout - Fill in your details and create a password for your online client billing area. Please note: It is most useful if you use an e-mail address not associated with your domain name as this may affect us being able to contact you during website transfer.
  8. Pay by Credit/Debit card or PayPal

Once you have signed up, you will receive confirmation of your payment, an e-mail with details of your online client billing account and your Green Hosting account log-in details.

Your account details should be kept safe and only shared with those who need access to your hosting control panel and website files.

Your domain

If you have registered a new domain via our sign-up, we will change the domain settings for your hosting account. If you have an existing domain you will need to do this yourself. Domain nameserver details will be included in your hosting account details e-mail.

Billing and subscriptions

We will use the e-mail address that you provided to send renewal notifications, invoices and other messages relating to your account. Please make sure that you use an up to date e-mail address that you can acess regularly. Multiple e-mail reminders about upcoming billing and payments are sent before a hosting payment is due. Unpaid invoices will result in services being suspended and ultimately terminated and domains will be allowed to expire.

Please check that your payment method is up to date before a payment is due. You can check this by logging in to your client billing area. Method of payment can be changed and new payment cards can be added in your client billing area.
